Mindfulness is a journey full of explorations. This program is designed to help you reconnect with your inner self through a series of breathing and mindfulness explorations, to attain inner harmony. This is a 3-part program conducted over 2.5 hours.

Event Flow

1. Pranayam

The session will begin with pranayam and its impact on your mind and body. 
Pranayam refers to your breathing patterns. As per the Yogic Philosophy, Pranayam is the third of the eight limbs of Yoga. It is of immense importance to be able to gain control over one’s breathing patterns to dive deeper into the spiritual process. Regulating your breathing patterns will also prepare you for guided meditation.  

2. Guided Meditation 

Guided Meditation is an immersive experience that can be extremely personable and exciting. With your eyes closed you simply need to follow the voice prompt and envision the scenario as per your liking.  Don’t hold back! Let your creativity flow, this feels like a dream that you can script by yourself. 

Guided meditation brings a different experience for each individual, every time they practice it. It can be relieving, relaxing, rejuvenating, or sometimes an indescribable positive experience. Allow yourself to be soaked into it!

3. Mindfulness Activity 

Our concluding activity is a mindfulness activity that is likely to vary in each session. This could include painting, drawing zentangles, journaling your feelings, and free movement activities. 

Every session promises to be a tranquil experience, leaving you relaxed, refreshed, and reenergized to take on your daily chores.

Meet Your Host

The adoption of exploration of breathing techniques, meditation, and mindfulness activities was particularly life-changing for Parichay, during the trying times
of the COVID-19 pandemic. This inspired him to deep dive into Yoga and its philosophy to learn more about the practices that he could incorporate into his hectic lifestyle. Based on his explorations, this course has been designed to be able to benefit more individuals struggling with stress, anxiety,
overthinking, and seeking inner harmony. 

Parichay studied psychology and graduated with an MA in Organizational and Industrial Psychology from the University of
Mumbai. He also has certifications in Hypnotherapy from the California Hypnosis Institute of India (2008) and has cleared the Basic Teacher Training Program by The Yoga Institute, India (2021).  Combining his diverse work experience in the arts, humanities, pop culture, and digital marketing, his inclination
towards mental well-being attained along the teachings of yogic philosophy grew stronger.
