January 2025 Report | New Year, Post Holiday Gloom

What is the month after all those holidays supposed to look like for a business? What is all this cold supposed to do, when all it does is make people gloomy & want to stay home?
January 2025 Performance Overview
✨January 2025, the first month of the year and our 8th month of operations was much like any other month—
Inviting of people when the weather demanded (read got too cold), looking calm as it could be on days when people went to work & yet getting all lively (& hectic) through the weekends.
🏆One thing was for sure, the winner of January, emerged to be our INDIAN MASALA CHAI. The demand & the love for it shot up like nothing we’d imagined <3 As one of our guests described, “Masala Chai is like Winter in a cup! The right kind of cozy to warm you up”
🫶🏼On the people front, we were extremely happy to meet our regulars back from their holidays, with stories to tell.
🧘♂️We had quite a few events for yoga, meditation, pottery. However, introduction of dance sessions takes the cake.
💃🏽Isabella from Realiza’s Room to Move hosted weekend Belly Dance sessions with a mixed group
💃🏽Apurva from Apurva’s Dance has started weekly Bollywood Dance sessions, on Fridays at re:kompany
🎨January was the month for private events & workshops such as hand building pottery and coaster painting birthday party. However, behind the scenes we’ve been busy foraging partnerships & collaborations to offer more to our guests. And we’re pretty excited to share all the updates as they unfold!
🌱As a Veganuary special, we introduced a homemade Vegan Banana Cake to our offerings. And we succeeded in adapting a vegan recipe for our signature Pistachio Safran Cake so that it can be enjoyed by more of our guests.
That’s all for January (that seemed equal parts slow & equally super fast).
Super excited for a fabulous February!
Until then! 💃🏽
